How it works
Your mood decides the genres. Your time decides movie or series, and how long a movie can run. Who is watching decides how picky we are: on your own you get only the highest rated, with a group you get crowd-pleasers people have actually heard of. Every result is streaming right now and has cleared a BN Score of 65.
Questions
How does Find Me Something choose?
Your mood picks the genres, your time picks movie or series and the runtime, and who is watching sets how picky it is. Everything shown is streaming now and has a BN Score of at least 65.
Why not just use the Netflix home screen?
The home screen promotes what Netflix wants you to watch. This ranks by what critics and audiences actually rated, with no account and no watch history.
Can I use it for other services?
Yes. Switch the service on the results screen to Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, Peacock or Apple TV+.
