Jesse Moss’ documentary and current and searing look at not only the shortcomings of the American Dream and the current economy, but also a larger story about how difficult it is just to do good by your fellow man. Pastor Jay Reinke allows men to sleep in his church, but runs up against opposition from his community and the town government. It’s also a touching look at how hard it is to do right by each other when we’re such flawed creatures. It’s a somber, melancholy picture that shows the difficulties of doing right by your fellow man, especially in present-day America. – Matt Goldberg
